I love spending time with my amazing fiance experiencing life (sort of a long-distance-relationship-thing right now), my wonderful family being our quirky selves, and my heartfelt friends who more than put up with me.

Last year I graduated from high school, having been home-schooled since 1st grade. Right now I am taking online classes at a community college, but this fall I transfer from my nook in Western North Carolina to a four-year school in South Carolina! I am so excited, my target is to get a degree in English. It's my passion and I love it.

I try to cram in as much writing and pleasure reading as I can.

This blog is where I write novel reviews, about my life, hobbies, taboo interests, my book lover self, travels, authenticity, and have an excuse to drink more coffee. If you have any reading suggestions or questions, feel free to contact me!

I will note, I do not purchase very many books merely upon request to review them. If a purchase is required for a book you suggested to me, I may not review it, but it's definitely a possibility. My time is precious and funds limited, I can only squeeze in so many books and crank out so many thoughtful reviews at a time.

If you wish to commission me to review a book for you (maybe even yours!), when you sweetly provide me with a free physical copy (eBooks are acceptable, but physical copies are preferred), I would be wonderfully obliged to review your book. Here's what you really need to know though:

• Compensation or payment for my book reviews is a free copy of the book in which I am to review. I do not accept anything else at this time.
• I read and review books within 30 days of receiving my book copy.
• Book reviews are posted on my blog, my Goodreads account, and at least one retailer site (i.e. Amazon.com, Barnes&Noble, etc.). Reviews can be posted on multiple or specific retailer/websites upon request.
• My reviews generally have a minimum of 300 words, I don't skimp on quality.
• I mostly receive free copies of books in exchange for an honest review.
• My apologies, but I do not wish to review books with explicit sexual content or language. If you have an explanation for it, please  share, and be understanding if I still have to turn your book down.
• I currently review books for self-published authors, Bethany House Publishers, Zondervan, Waterbrook Multnomah Publishers, Chosen Books (a division of Baker Publishing), and most recently Moody Publishers. I receive free books from these publishers in exchange for an honest review.

DISCLAIMER: I do have to write honest reviews. If after I have shared my review with you, you find it unfavorable and do not want me to post it...
